This Chocolate Avocado Mousse is unbelievably smooth, rich, and decadent—yet totally dairy-free and naturally sweetened. It’s a clean dessert that satisfies every chocolate craving in minutes!
Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados, (medium size)
- 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup
- 1/4 cup (60ml) almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch sea salt
- 1 oz (30g) dark chocolate, (optional, melted)
Instructions

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a food processor or high-speed blender.

Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt.

Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

If using, add melted dark chocolate and blend again until fully incorporated.

Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.

Spoon the mousse into serving cups or jars.

Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture.
Notes
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days, covered.
Use honey or agave syrup instead of maple syrup if preferred.
Add a pinch of cinnamon or espresso powder for an extra flavor boost.
This can be made a day in advance.
