A buttery pretzel crust, creamy peanut butter, gooey caramel, and silky chocolate — these no-bake bars are dangerously good. Sweet, salty, and chewy in all the right ways, they’re the kind of treat that disappears fast at any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (200 g) Salted pretzels (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (180 g) Peanut butter
  • 1 cup (120 g) Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Caramel sauce
  • 1 cup (170 g) Chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt flakes (for topping)

Instructions

  • 1

Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) pan with parchment paper.

  • 2

In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and brown sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  • 3

In another bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread evenly over the pretzel crust.

  • 4

Pour caramel sauce over the peanut butter layer and spread gently.

  • 5

Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. Pour over caramel layer and smooth the top.

  • 6

Sprinkle sea salt flakes over the chocolate.

  • 7

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until set.

  • 8

    Slice into bars and serve.

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • Substitute almond or cashew butter if desired.
  • Use gluten-free pretzels for a GF version.
  • For a nut-free version, use sunflower seed butter.
